YOGA NIDRA BEDTIME STORIES

Wednesday evenings, 8:30 -9:15pm GMT, Online via Zoom

The quiet hours of night can sometimes feel like a vast, restless landscape. Whether you battle insomnia, an overactive mind, or the challenge of finding a gentle bedtime rhythm, you are not alone. Many of us know the longing for sleep that feels deeply restorative—a gentle surrender to the night, free from the worries and cycles of the day.

Yoga Nidra Bedtime Stories welcome everyone for whom sleep has become a struggle. These live, co-creative sessions are a soft landing place, offering kindhearted guidance and the warmth of shared community. Here, soothing stories and simple meditative practices become a bridge—carrying you from wakeful tension into the healing embrace of rest.

A Bedtime Ritual for All Who Seek Rest

Each week, we gather online to share and create sacred space together. These 45-minute sessions are a gentle invitation to let go of the day, to lay down busyness, and to weave threads of kindness and compassion—both for yourself and for all beings—through your dreams.

Discover the Magic of Community Dreaming

Yoga Nidra Bedtime Stories are more than personal practice—each session is a co-creative circle. We gather with others who understand what it’s like to yearn for stillness and a good night’s sleep. The magic of this community is in the sharing: dreams, intentions, and gentle encouragement flow between us, helping to co-create an energy of peaceful sleep that extends beyond your own bed. Our conversations are a place to voice what you’re releasing and what you’re inviting in, helping every participant shape a shared and supportive sanctuary.

  • Find more ease in falling asleep and staying asleep
  • Decrease stress and quieten thoughts at bedtime

  • Develop a sense of community, acceptance, and support
  • Develop compassion in both dreams and waking life

Praise

I just wanted to let you know how welcome nidra was for me in last week’s class. I felt so nurtured and safe, I could just fall into the nidra nest and be supported, the sound of your voice and your guidance is wonderful. I always feel I’m in much need before the sessions, it’s incredibly cathartic and feel repaired after. Thank for this wonderful opportunity.

Helen

I just wanted to drop you a message to say thank you for last night. Again it was such a wonderful experience. I don’t think I ever realised how much more powerful yoga nidra is in person than just listening to a recording. Thank you again for a wonderful and much needed reset.

What You'll Experience During A session

Through these enriching sessions, you will explore practices that nurture inner peace and create connection with others. You’ll be guided through relaxing breathwork, vivid visualisations, and stories shaped by the spirit of the seasons. Practices draw from Buddhist wisdom and the loving-kindness prayer, holding you in a nurturing cocoon that invites forgiveness, compassion, and hope for the day to come. Each session is lovingly themed around “letting go of the day” and “putting the day to bed,” so that as you settle down, your mind and body can gently unravel into peace.

  • Guided breathwork to settle the nervous system: Each session begins with simple yet powerful breathing exercises designed to gently release tension, quiet the mind, and send calming signals throughout your whole body.
  • Compassion-infused visualisations and bedtime stories: You’ll be carried into the heart of each night’s story, woven with gentle, compassionate language inspired by Buddhist teachings and the loving-kindness prayer.
  • Seasonal themes for holistic balance: The bedtime stories flow in harmony with the natural rhythms of the year, drawing inspiration from the changing seasons.
  • Collective support and a nurturing space to share and co-create dream intentions: Beyond meditation, these sessions offer a warm, welcoming space for shared reflection and gentle co-creation.
